What this site is
Delaware Water & Coast is an independent public-information resource about drinking water, watersheds, recreational water and coastal resilience. It is not a government agency, water utility, laboratory or health-care provider. We explain how to locate official records and what their scope and limitations are. We do not test water or determine whether a specific tap, well, beach or property is safe.
Nonpartisan coverage
We aim to describe public policy, programs and their consequences without endorsing a political party, candidate, company or advocacy position. Where policy choices involve trade-offs, we explain the documented arguments and identify whose views are being represented.
Sources and dates
We prioritize government records, statutes, agency datasets, official maps and primary documents. We identify source dates where they matter. A page's update date indicates when the guide was reviewed; it does not mean every linked database was refreshed on that date.
Corrections
